SEASIDE SCRIBES WRITERS CONFERENCE

Seaside Scribes Conference 2025

Host, Lynette Eason

  • Her books have appeared on the USA TODAY, Publisher’s Weekly, CBA, ECPA, and Parable bestseller lists. She has won numerous awards including the Carol, the Selah, the Golden Scroll and more. Her novel, Her Stolen Past  was made into a movie for the Lifetime Movie Network.

Lynette teaches at writing conferences all over the country and is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW), Mystery Writers of America (MWA), International Thriller Writers (ITW), and Faith, Hope, and Love.

Deb and Ken Raney

  • Deb’s Bio:
DEBORAH RANEY's first novel, A Vow to Cherish, inspired the World Wide Pictures film of the same title and launched Deb’s writing career. Thirty years, forty-plus books, and numerous awards later, she's still creating stories that touch hearts and lives. A three-time Christy Award finalist and winner of the RITA® Award, Carol Award, National Readers Choice Award, and HOLT Medallion, Deb is represented by Steve Laube of the Steve Laube Agency. She served on the executive board of the 2500-member American Christian Fiction Writers for eighteen years and teaches at writers conferences around the country.

    Ken’s Bio:
KEN RANEY is president of Raney Day Press and Raney Day Creative LLC, a producer of illustration and graphic design. Raney is the author/illustrator of two children's picture books and has over 40 years of experience in graphic design, illustration, advertising, and marketing. He and his wife, novelist Deborah Raney, make their home in Missouri. Find out more at www.kenraney.com.

Darlene Turner

  • I’m now living my dream of writing full-time. My debut book, Border Breach, released in April 2020 by Love Inspired Suspense–the inspirational division of Harlequin. I’m continuing to write books for LIS and loving every minute. I hope my readers will enjoy my stories and find that there’s suspense beyond borders.

Eva Marie Everson

  • Eva Marie Everson is an ECPA bestselling and multiple award-winning author and speaker, including an ECPA Gold Medallion. She is a Christy finalist, and a Silver Medallion winner. She has won a Carol, several Maggie and Golden Scroll awards, and an Inspirational Retailers Choice Award. She is CEO of Word Weavers International, Inc., which serves over 1200 writers primarily as a national and international group of critique and educational chapters.

Eva Marie also serves as director of Florida Christian Writers Conference and has also been awarded the Yvonne Lehman Legacy Award and the AWSA Lifetime Achievement Award.

Lynn Blackburn

  • Lynn H. Blackburn loves writing swoon-worthy Southern suspense because her childhood fantasy was to become a spy, but her grown-up reality is that she’s a chicken and would have been caught on her first mission. She prefers living vicariously through her characters while safe at home in her pajamas! She drinks too much coffee, eats too much chocolate, does too little Crossfit, and never leaves home without a book.

Her current series, Gossamer Falls, is set in the mountains of Western North Carolina, and she’s already dreaming of what she’ll write next.

  • Edie Melson is a woman of faith with ink-stained fingers observing life through the lens of her camera. She’s a writer who feels lost without her camera and a reluctant speaker who loves to encourage an audience. And she embraces the ultimate contradiction of being an organized creative. She knows the necessity of Soul Care and leads workshops throughout the world on staying connected to God. Her numerous books, including the award-winning Soul Care series and Unruffled, Thriving in Chaos (co-authored with Rhonda Rhea) reflect her passion to help others develop the strength of their God-given gifts and apply them to their lives. She and husband Kirk have been married 40+ years and raised three sons.

The Heart Share Group presents…

The 2nd Annual
SEASIDE SCRIBES WRITERS CONFERENCE

Is your head spinning from all of the writing information out there and you're not sure what your next step is?

Do you want to improve your craft?

Do you want to spend one on one time with an author who has been where you are?

  • learn (and avoid mistakes made) from authors who remember well what it was like to seek publication

  • learn how to deal with rejection

  • ask should I go Indie and self-publish?
